A little Tech tip

If you get a new TV or even your current one. Go to your settings and find screen/picture setting. got to brightness and star turning it down ( you can see the picture while doing this) when you see the picture start to change :STOP: this setting will help the L.E.D.s last a lot longer. Bad L.E.D.s are one of the most common problems. This can and dose help.

I am seeing a lot of Backlights going bad, One thing you can do to gain some time on them.. go to your settings and select brightness, click on it and start bringing the brightness down. you can see the picture as you are doing this. When you see the picture begin to change, Stop! this could extend the life of your set by years.
