Tuesday May 5th at 5:30 PM come join us at Pizza Man's Pizza for our monthly meeting. There are plenty of good opportunities to use Ham Radio in our community. If you've got lots of experience or are just curious to hear what it's all about, all are welcome. fWe even have one that involves lots of doughnuts, come hear all about it.

Join us this Tuesday April 7, 2026. We will have great food, great people and of course conversation and a meeting for the good of Ham Radio in Lawrence County, PA. 5:30 we meet in the meeting room and order dinner from the menu at Pizza Man's Pizza in downtown New Castle PA, the meeting follows dinner. All are welcome to join in, whether you have no experience, lots of experience, or are somewhere in between.

Tuesday March 3rd come join us at Pizza Man's Pizza. Look for us in their meeting room. We order dinner from the menu at 5:30 and the meeting starts after dinner. It's a great way to get out and meet good people doing good things with ham radio. You might find ideas with regard to your own radio project or a project you can lend your enthusiasm and/or expertise to. No experience necessary.

Today is the first Tuesday of the month. Yes, that means tonight is the monthly club meeting at Pizza Man's Pizza in downtown New Castle PA. We will place dinner orders at 5:30. The meeting will follow.

Upcoming: January 24-25, 2026 – Winter Field Day at LCCAP Frew Mill Campus (former YDC). Below are some pictures from 2025. Set up begins at 9 AM on January 24, on air at 11 AM. If you need directions to the Frew Mill Road location, call us on the K3ACS or N3ETV repeater. We will go as long as there is interest on Saturday, and resume again on Sunday morning. Tear down will begin at 2 PM Sunday.
Update: As you all know we are expecting some pretty crazy weather over the weekend and into next week. As of now we are expecting to continue with our WFD plans for Saturday. The plan right now is we will most likely break everything down and end WFD Saturday evening. Sunday is supposed to be much worse.

Tuesday January 6, 5:30 PM at Pizza Man's Pizza, it's the annual Winter Party. This year's theme is Valentine's. If you haven't let Nancy Gibson know that you're coming, do it now. Last date to let her know is January 2. If you don't have her contact info - message this account as soon as you can with your name and how many are attending, and your attendance will be relayed to Nancy.
We are ordering from the full menu. So be aware that it may take awhile to get all orders served.

The Amateur Radio League of Lawrence County will be participating in Field Day from the Lawrence County EOC. We will be operating from 2pm today until 2pm tomorrow. Everyone is welcome to participate! If you have any questions we will be monitoring the K3ACS, 444.175, repeater.

Please see the attached proclamation from Chris Frye Jr., Mayor of the City of New Castle, who has declared this week Amateur Radio Week in the City of New Castle! This proclamation was signed in recognition of ARRL Field Day which will take place on June 27 & 28 at the Lawrence County EOC. The Field Day exercise will begin on June 27 at 2:00pm and will run for 24 hours. If you would like to participate please contact Jim, K7JN, at [email protected] or Carl, N3OLA, at [email protected]. We will also be monitoring the K3ACS repeater if anyone has any questions. I hope to see you there!
