What is a logo redraw - also known as a logo cleanup?
Logo cleanup is a process of taking an existing art file and converting it to high-resolution format for printing and other uses.
When I meet a new customer, one of my first questions is often “do you have a high-res version of your current logo?” While most already have a logo of their own, about 80% of those customers do not have a reliable set of files suitable for printing. It may be lost, outdated, or the original designer never provided them with those files of the logo they paid for!
Logo redraws are a crucial first step in the process because they:
- Convert existing artwork into an upgraded, clean, and professional logo
- Eliminate fuzziness, restore or establish clarity
- Are infinitely scaleable (enlarge without appearing pixelated)
- Calibrate colors for accurate and consistent print quality across all forms of media
- Can be used for all forms of print
- Are now adaptable to cut vinyl graphics and screen printed t-shirts or other apparel.
