Familiar does not always mean effective—especially when lives depend on the outcome.
On Tuesday, October 27, Capital Electric and AtlasIED are bringing Crisis Reality Training to Concordia University Wisconsin for an evidence-based active-lethal-threat preparedness session led by Jesús Villahermosa.
Jesús draws on 33 years in law enforcement—including 30 years on the Pierce County Sheriff’s S.W.A.T. Team—to examine what actual events teach us about lockdown procedures, emergency communication and decision-making under pressure.
Attendees will explore:
• Where traditional lockdown practices may fall short
• Why clear public-address and emergency communication are critical
• How surveillance, detection and notification technologies should support the response plan
• Whether people, procedures and technology will work together when seconds matter
This is not a product presentation. It is a practical conversation for K–12 and higher-education administrators, facility leaders, safety and security professionals, emergency managers, law enforcement, healthcare and corporate campus leaders.
Security integrators and consultants are also encouraged to attend—and to bring the customers they help protect. It is an opportunity to add value beyond the project bid by helping customers evaluate their real-world preparedness.
