A great example of how thoughtful AV design and engineering can create a beautiful balance between performance and aesthetics. 🤍

At Faith Lutheran Church in Fond du Lac, WI, the existing black speakers (some of which had blown mid/high frequency drivers!) stood out against the clean, white aesthetic of the Worship space and were visually distracting from the liturgical environment. While the existing black projection rigging is still required at this time, the long-term vision for a future phase of upgrades is to eliminate it completely, creating an even cleaner visual environment.

The goal was simple... uniform, intelligible sound without compromising the beauty of the sacred space.

The Metro Sound & Video, Inc. crew installed sleek EAW - Eastern Acoustic Works AC6 loudspeakers, providing improved audio performance and coverage while blending much more naturally into the architecture. 👏

Our team recently headed up to Wisconsin’s beautiful Northwoods for a project at the incredibly ✨ stunning ✨ St. Peter the Fisherman Parish in Eagle River, WI. 🌲 This beautiful church presented a significant acoustic challenge with the nave’s unique reverberant characteristics, making speech intelligibility and even coverage particularly difficult.

With the existing system unable to adequately address these challenges, our team here at Metro Sound & Video, Inc. approached the project with a clear objective: to provide clear, intelligible sound throughout the Worship space so that the Word could be heard clearly from every seat. Challenge Accepted. 💪

After a detailed analysis of the physical space and our customer's needs, we designed a system including custom finished Fulcrum Acoustic loudspeakers serving as the mains and rear delays, powered by the always impressive Powersoft DSP amplifiers. The system infrastructure features an ALLEN & HEATH SQ-Series digital mixing system and fully integrated Extron AV control system for flexible and intuitive operation.

The result is a high-performance system that delivers consistent, intelligible coverage throughout while maintaining the architectural character and liturgical sensitivity of the Worship space. 🙏

Out with the old. In with the new!

The black speakers definitely weren't doing this beautiful clean white sanctuary any favors. On top of that, 4 of the 8 had blown mid/high-frequency drivers.

The Metro Sound & Video, Inc. crew swapped them out for sleek, white left and right stacks of steerable arrays that blend beautifully into the space while delivering a major upgrade in both performance and aesthetics. Now, everyone can hear the Word clearly, no matter where they’re seated throughout the Worship space. 🙏

Every project - regardless of shape and size - truly matters, but some spaces leave a lasting impression!

One of the privileges of primarily serving churches since 1981 is the opportunity to work in beautiful, historic environments. This project was absolutely no exception! 🎬 🎭

We feel so honored to have had the opportunity to work with the amazing crew at The Mabel Tainter in Menomonie, WI on this project. We worked with our partners at Audio Biz, Inc. and installed a high-performance EAW - Eastern Acoustic Works loudspeaker system with custom-painted enclosures as the foundation. From there, a talented local artist hand-painted the final details, allowing each unit to blend beautifully into the historic architecture.

Exceptional sound without compromising the ✨stunning✨ space it lives in!
