Extended Security Updates (ESU)The ESU program ensures your Windows 10 device continues to receive critical and important security patches, protecting your system against malware and exploits.New Support Date: Microsoft has extended the ESU program, meaning consumer coverage now runs until October 12, 2027.How to Enroll: You can enroll eligible devices by going to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update. The easiest method is to simply use a Microsoft account and turn on Windows backup to get the updates at no extra cost.Limitations: ESUs provide strictly security-related fixes; they do not include new features, general technical support, or non-security bug fixes.
