Guillermo’s work is heavily inspired by mythological characters, with a hint of realism, as well as the traditional Japanese tattooing style. It is with a heavy heart that we inform our Chromatics family about the passing of our beautiful friend and talented artist, Nancy M. Allan. Nancy was an inspired soul, someone who was passionate about making heartfelt artwork, and using up-cycled materials. She was always a joy to work and chat with.

Her self-proclaimed squad of “do-it-yourself characters” and sprawling textural motifs illustrated a world of whimsy and eternal optimism, something that our world is in desperate need of now.

We will miss Nancy dearly, and are endlessly grateful for the curiosity and beauty she brought into our lives.
