I LOVE an art challenge and one of my favorite illustrators released a Do This In Your Own Style call. As a cat person, I had to switch out her pup for my cute little office assistant orange kitty. I pulled in some classic blue and white plates, my mom’s fancy wicker chair and a pot of ranunculus.

I left out the squeezing fresh orange all over my child at the end of the day and all the ensuing bedtime chaos currently happening (I hear chicken noises and am avoiding whatever that is).

My days of going ninety to nothing when my daughter is at school is never the same. That’s the life of a freelance designer juggling motherhood, clients, goals, big dreams and all the hats.
