PSA!!! Here at Paradise we always like to support the growth of computer literacy and while we encourage people to get out of their comfort zone and build a computer we can never express enough caution to the builder. Building a computer is now easier than ever with wonderful resources such as articles and videos along with the constant move towards making the whole project safer in the industry, but there are still risks you take. Some parts are fragile while others are awkwardly heavy. Parts can be really sensitive to electricity, making even the static electricity you generate a problem. When handling any computer components please be gentle and handle them with care. making sure to use two hands when available and always grounding your self from electricity. Stay safe, stay smart, be patient, and most importantly never stop learning.

Isn't it crazy how we've gone from computers taking up entire buildings to something like this, an Intel nuc a 12 CPU core machine with 64 gigabytes of RAM and a Terabyte of fast solid state storage? PSA!!! Lithium battery fires are no joke! If you notice and bulging or warping where your battery is located take precautions! In this case the battery grew to the point where it punched out the track pad. Please be careful when dealing with laptop batteries and do not ignore them. If you have any questions or have a battery you would like to be removed safely give us a call.
