General Summary. We are seeking a highly competent enthusiastic Help Desk/PC Repair Professional to join our team! This position requires an intermediate background in information technology and a strong knowledge of PC hardware installation, repair, testing and troubleshooting. You will use your expertise to monitor and support our customer’s IT systems. You MUST have the ability to communicate effectively and efficiently.
The ideal candidate will have experience with the following:
• Active directory
• Firewalls
• Switches
• VoIP phone systems
• End point protection
• Microsoft teams
• Office 365
• Microsoft Azure
• Server administration
• Workstation support
• ANY OTHERS THAT ARE A PLUS??
Responsibilities:
• Consult with clients & vendors to resolve IT issues
• Provide hardware and software support for all clients systems
• Move, install, uninstall and configure personal computers and any associated peripherals for use on the network.
• Install data communication cables throughout new and existing offices.
• Install, maintain and uninstall end-user software.
• Diagnose and resolve PC problems either by repairing the problem, or accelerating the problem to an IT Supervisor or outside vendor.
• Troubleshoot network problems and work closely with network engineers to resolve network problems.
• Diagnose and repair printing problems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software issues either by correcting the problem, or accelerating the problem to a IT Supervisor or outside vendor.
• Assist client base with any questions regarding hardware and software on Company PC’s.
• Take help desk calls and submit tickets on end user’s behalf when necessary.
• Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned by Supervisor and any other duties as required.
Qualifications:
• 2+ years of experience in information technology
• Excellent personality is a MUST HAVE!!!
• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple problems simultaneously
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of hardware technology and concepts
• Knowledge of system administration of workstations and servers
Experience:
• IT Support: 2 years (Required)
• relevant: 2 years (Required)
License:
• A valid IT Specialist certification (Preferred)
