Tidings is founded on the belief that great wine is a reflection of place. Winemaker Reid Griggs approaches each bottling with traditional techniques, native fermentations, and minimal intervention, allowing the vineyard, not the winemaker, to define the final expression. Every vintage becomes a message carried from the land itself: a tiding of season, site, and time.

That philosophy became the foundation for the packaging system. Rather than illustrating vineyards literally, we looked to historic maps of the regions where the wines originate, cropping fragments of topography into quiet graphic compositions unique to each bottling.

New location. New look.

Back Room Wines, the storied Napa wine shop you know and love has moved a few blocks down the road to a new space in downtown. We had the pleasure of rebranding their identity.

The new branding system was designed with versatility in mind, with a collection of logos and seals built to adapt seamlessly across signage, print, and digital applications. At the center of the system is a keyhole-inspired icon that doubles as a cellar door, with a wine glass peeking out from within, a small nod to what you might discover on the other side.

Weā€™re excited to finally share a look at the new identity in motion, and even more excited to see it out in the world.

From the steep slopes of the Mosel Valley to Sonomaā€™s untamed coastline, is the story of two people from different countries and cultures coming together to plant new roots in Sonoma County.

The label for Toje Wines uses custom typography and a textural border in both German and English to share the couples unique journey. A grafted rootstock intertwined ā€˜Tā€™ seal reinforces the brand story of connection and growth.

This collection of small-production wines are pure, site-driven, and reflective of both vineyard and vintage, wines with balance, energy, and a quiet sense of place.

The inaugural label from Coturnix is rooted in Howell Mountain, Napa Valley. Created by partners Molly and Miles as a deeply personal expression of place.

Named for the quail that roam their property, the design is quiet and considered: a detailed illustration, restrained typography, and soft, tactile materials come together to reflect the character of the wines.
