Part 4: Bringing the brand to life.

One of my favorite parts of any branding project is seeing it move beyond a logo and become something you can actually experience.

From business cards and stationery to packaging, this is where everything starts to feel cohesive.

Branding isn’t just about having a beautiful logo.

It’s about creating a consistent experience that people recognize and remember wherever they interact with your business.

Seeing it all come together never gets old.

Which piece would you be most excited to see with your own branding? 🤍

Stay tuned for Part 5, where this brand comes to life online with a website designed to match the same thoughtful experience.

Part 3: The Logo Suite ✍️🤎

One of the biggest goals of this rebrand was creating a logo that felt like an extension of the experience I want every client to have.

I didn't want something overly trendy or overly corporate. I wanted it to feel editorial, warm, and timeless, a balance between creativity and strategy.

Every element was chosen with intention:

✍️ The script "M" adds a personal, handcrafted touch, like signing every project with care.

Canela brings an editorial, boutique feel that reflects the elevated brands I love creating.

Satoshi keeps everything clean, modern, and easy to read.

Amsterdam Four adds the personal signature, the warmth and handcrafted feel that makes Mindful Design feel approachable.

🌿 The botanical details are a subtle nod to intentional growth, creativity, and the calm approach behind Mindful Design by Liz.

Rather than relying on one logo for everything, I created a complete logo suite so each version has its own purpose, from my website and proposals to social media, client guides, and branding materials.

This rebrand has reminded me that a logo isn't just about how it looks, it's about how it makes people feel.

I wanted mine to feel welcoming, thoughtful, and memorable, while reflecting the boutique hospitality and service-based businesses I love working with.

✨ Next up in Part 4: How I'm bringing this entire brand to life through my website, stay tuned!

Hope you love it as much as I do and the thought and process that went into it, give me your thoughts below!

Part 2: The Color Palette 🤎🍵

One of the first things I tackled during this rebrand was the color palette.

After 9 months in business, I wanted my brand to feel more refined while staying true to the heart of Mindful Design by Liz.

Every color was chosen with intention, not just because it's beautiful, but because of the feeling it creates.

Cream Foam creates clarity and space.

Oat Milk adds warmth and comfort.

Stone brings balance and timelessness.

Roasted Coffee represents craftsmanship, trust, and depth.

Matcha is my signature accent—a nod to my afternoon ritual and a reminder to create with intention.

Slate Blue introduces a cool, modern contrast while improving accessibility throughout my website.

Clay adds personality and a touch of creativity.

Together, these colors reflect the experience I want every client to have: thoughtful, welcoming, and elevated.

They're inspired by slow mornings with coffee, afternoon matcha, boutique hospitality, and the service-based businesses I love designing for.

Because great branding isn't just about looking beautiful, it's about creating a feeling that people remember.

Part 3 is coming soon, where I'll reveal the new logo suite and typography that bring this brand to life. I can't wait to share it with you!

Sometimes inspiration looks like stepping away from the screen and watching the sky change.

The colors.

The movement.

The calm.

The way something can feel simple and still completely hold your attention.

I think that’s part of why I’m so drawn to design.

The best experiences are not always loud or complicated.

Part 1: Behind the Rebrand 🤎🍵

After 9 months in business, I’ve learned so much—not just about design, but about the kind of clients I love working with and the experience I want to create for them.

I’ve always loved the heart behind Mindful Design by Liz. This rebrand isn’t about becoming someone new, it’s about elevating what already exists.

I’m refining my brand with a more editorial direction inspired by slow mornings with coffee, afternoon matcha rituals, natural textures, and boutique hospitality. Every detail is intentional, creating a studio that feels warm, thoughtful, and welcoming for the hospitality and service-based businesses I love designing for.

This is just the beginning, and I can’t wait to share more behind the scenes as the new studio comes to life.

Thanks for following along 🫶🏻 stick around for part 2 😊

The website option that makes sense for you is not always the one that sounds the most impressive.

Sometimes a template is enough.

Sometimes you need help customizing the template so it actually feels like your brand.

And sometimes you need something built from the ground up because your offers, content, or client experience need more strategy behind them.

The mistake is choosing based only on price or what everyone else is doing.

Your website should match the season your business is in.

If you’re still clarifying your offers, a huge custom website may be too much too soon.

If you already have strong content, branding, and direction, a template or semi-custom option might be the perfect fit.

And if your business has outgrown the quick fix, custom might finally make sense.

It’s not about choosing the biggest option.

It’s about choosing the right support for where your business is now — and where it’s going next.

A one-page website is not a “lesser” website; it can be a beautifully clear introduction to your business when thoughtfully designed.

The issue isn’t the single page itself but the absence of a smooth flow.

For a one-page website to be effective, it should gently guide visitors through a journey, from first impressions to building trust and encouraging action.

Visitors shouldn't have to search for information about what you do, who you help, how it works, or how to proceed. With purpose in every section, a one-page website can feel polished, professional, and inviting.

Wondering if a one-page website fits your current needs? Take the website quiz in my bio for clarity on your next step.

Your website might be creating hesitation before someone ever reaches out.

Not because your business isn’t valuable — but because your online experience may not be giving people enough clarity or confidence to take the next step.

For service-based businesses and hospitality brands, your website is part of the experience.

It’s where people decide if they trust you.
If your business feels aligned.
If they know what to do next.

And when your website feels unclear, outdated, or disconnected, people may quietly move on without ever telling you why.

That’s why I created the Before They Book: Website Experience Quiz.

It’s a quick way to see whether your website feels polished, aligned, and easy to trust before someone books, inquires, reserves, or visits.

Take the quiz through the link in my bio or visit https://mindfuldesignbyliz.com/website-experience-quiz

I wanted to build something that felt like mine — something creative, flexible, and meaningful.

Something that gave me room to use a side of myself I didn’t fully realize was there until I found web design.

It’s been a mix of learning, figuring things out, celebrating small wins, and continuing anyway.

But I’m grateful for the chance to build this from the ground up. 💛

And I’m even more grateful for everyone who’s been following along, supporting, encouraging, or simply watching this journey unfold.

Wherever it leads, thank you for being here! ☺️
