🚧 AI is certainly disrupting our industry, but when it comes to construction 85% of all general contractors are still using printed drawings on site, and less than 35% of all engineering companies in the US are currently using BIM.

🚀 The overall assumption is that new technologies are too expensive and the learning curve associated with implementing them makes it almost impossible in certain situations where labor is rather scarce and expensive, especially in businesses with higher turnover rates.

💸 Although it can be true, it doesn't mean it is right - especially when less than 10% of all projects in the US are being completed within budget and on schedule.
