🎉 Celebrating 27 Years of R:BASE Technologies, Inc. and 44 Years of R:BASE Innovation 🎉

Today, we proudly commemorate two extraordinary milestones: 27 years since the founding of R:BASE Technologies, Inc., and 44 years of continuous development of R:BASE—the first true-relational database for microcomputers by Microrim, Inc.

The day I acquired R:BASE in 1998, my vision from the beginning has been to lead with purpose, ensuring R:BASE remains not only technologically powerful but also deeply human-centered. I believe that database software should empower, not overwhelm; evolve with its users, and endure without compromise. Through decades of transformation, our commitment has remained unwavering: to deliver total solutions that are intuitive, resilient, and built on trust.

This journey has been about more than my vision and innovation—it's been about providing industry solutions to our loyal customers worldwide, fostering partnerships, developing our team, and upholding the promise that meaningful technology can stand the test of time.

I'm proud to have led the development of R:BASE to its current version (R:BASE 11), featuring a powerful and intuitive interface that enables it to compete in the database and rapid application development world. R:BASE provides our customers with the best database management system for running their mission-critical businesses worldwide.

Heartfelt thanks to everyone who has been part of the journey, especially my family, our resilient employees, and talented development team.

Reflecting on 2024, we proudly share the milestones and achievements marked this year for R:BASE Technologies.

This year has been remarkable for R:BASE Technologies and our community. With the release of R:BASE 11 in January, we've seen significant growth in our user base, launched new and exciting updates, and received incredible feedback that has helped us continue to improve and innovate. Our dedication to providing a robust, high-performance relational database management system remains unwavering, and we're proud of the advancements we've made together.

Our entire development and support team has been instrumental in propelling R:BASE customers' businesses forward by deploying web portals, enabling online payments, collecting and managing data through handheld scanners, and more. We've been busy automating manufacturing, inventory control, and warehouse management and integrating with third-party accounting software such as QuickBooks, Salesforce, and HubSpot. With the powerful tools in R:BASE 11 and connectivity with Oterro, we are poised to deliver even greater value to our customers in 2025.

In 2024, our team traveled around the world to provide hands-on support and training to our valued customers. Keeping up with today's ever-changing technology and incorporating R:BASE to provide a solution for our valued clients has always been a challenge on which I thrive.

A huge congratulations to our entire development team, headed by Rafee Memon and collaborating with our hardware partner, UROVO, for delivering an exceptional project! Your dedication, hard work, and collaborative spirit were instrumental in the success of this project. You have truly shone through, and I am incredibly proud of every one of you and excited to see what you accomplish next!

Using rugged RT40S handheld scanners by UROVO has opened up new solutions and opportunities for our customers' warehouse inventory, receiving, and releasing needs. Developing mobile solutions using Android 11, R:BASE 11, and Oterro 11 has been a long project.

R:BASE Technologies 25th Anniversary Conference and Unveiling of R:BASE 11

I had a great time celebrating the 25th anniversary of one of my companies (R:BASE Technologies, Inc.) and announcing the release of the long-awaited R:BASE 11 in Las Vegas (October 25 - 27, 2023).

It was an honor to have Wayne Erickson (father of R:BASE and a key member of our development team) and long-time friend and developer Bill Downall (now retired) join us virtually.

Meeting old friends and developers and welcoming new ones into the R:BASE community was terrific. It was a pleasure to thank those who have supported us through the years.

Teaching RBASE 11 to our developers was exciting, getting them up to date with the new features and enhancements.

I am thankful for the support of my family, trusted friends, development team, and customers worldwide throughout my endeavors.

Rafee's continued and dedicated participation in our operations is the key to our future success.

COVID-19: A MESSAGE TO R:BASE COMMUNITY

Dear R:BASE Community:

I hope you are as well as can be expected during this time of unprecedented change and uncertainty.

While we are all hunkered down, I personally wanted to take a moment and reassure you that our sales, customer support, and development team members are working from home without any disruption.

Based on our business model of 22 years, it's business as usual at R:BASE Technologies, Inc.

Our phones are being answered, Emails are being replied to, all reported bugs are being squashed, submitted enhancement requests are being implemented, and our Government, Corporate VIP, and customers with vested interest in R:BASE are being provided with exceptional support as always, including remote support, private updates, etc.

We ask any of those effected by Stay-at-Home mandates to email R:BASE Technologies, where we can extend software support for new purchases and Software Assurance Plans. That is the right thing to do.

While it is impossible to know how long this situation will last, I know we will come through on the other side.
