Earlier today, a widespread power outage affected much of our service area in Peachtree, including the Peachtree Broadband Fiber office. Unfortunately, our backup generator, which had recently been serviced, experienced an unexpected failure during the outage. As a result, our office phones, internet, and customer support systems were temporarily unavailable.
We know this was frustrating for customers trying to reach us, and we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience.
The good news is that commercial power has been restored, our generator has been repaired, and our systems are back online. As the network and equipment complete their reboot processes, some customers may experience a delay before their modem reconnects. Please be patient as services fully restore across the network.
If your internet service does not return on its own, please try unplugging your modem for 30 seconds and then plugging it back in. A simple power cycle may help it reconnect more quickly.
Our team is working through any messages and customer concerns that may have accumulated during the outage. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we get everything back to normal.
