“LEAKED” Documents “Reveal” Secret Self-Destruct Button Hidden on DELL Motherboards

Internet forums erupted into chaos this morning after a supposed cache of leaked engineering documents claimed that every Dell desktop and laptop motherboard contains a tiny, undocumented "Self-Destruct" button designed to permanently disable the computer.

According to the entirely unverified documents, the button is allegedly concealed beneath multiple layers of components and can only be pressed by "someone having an exceptionally bad day with a microscope."

The rumoured feature supposedly triggers a dramatic sequence in which the computer displays the message "It's been a pleasure serving you," emits a single theatrical beep, and immediately refuses to boot ever again.

Technology repair shops were said to have been flooded with calls from concerned customers asking technicians to "check the button while you're in there."

One fictional IT administrator claimed to have found the mysterious switch after "three coffees and six hours of staring at a motherboard," only to discover it was "just a capacitor with excellent timing."

Computer enthusiasts quickly began circulating elaborate diagrams highlighting random components and confidently identifying each one as the "button," despite no two diagrams agreeing on its location.

Industry analysts noted that, if such a feature actually existed, it would rank among the least practical engineering decisions in computing history, requiring manufacturers to spend millions adding a function that serves no commercial purpose whatsoever.

Dell had not responded by the time of publication, reportedly because its communications team was busy reassuring customers that "pressing random things on a motherboard is generally not recommended."

As online speculation continued to spread, experts reminded users that the fastest way to make a computer stop working remains dropping a screwdriver onto the motherboard while it's powered on.

True or False?
