Cabling Technologies Institute, "CTI", was founded in 2013 as the sister company of Kennerly Communications Design & Consulting, LLC.
Kennerly Communications- established in 2000 is an Independent Consulting Firm Specializing in Design, Planning, RFP processes, Project Management, Infrastructure Documentation, and Complete Audits of existing infrastructures. "Building Telecommunication Infrastructures from Conception to Completion".
Julie Kennerly, RCDD, CFOS/I, and her business partner Kris Weaver,CFOS/I realized the increasing need to educate & train technicians to PROPERLY INSTALL telecommunications network infrastructures, according to all applicable Codes & Standards.
CTI is an accredited training Institution by The Fiber Optic Association "FOA". We offer over 45 years of combined experience in telecommunications, specializing in fiber optic technology, services and training.
Our instructors take time to get to know each student and how they learn and retain information. We incorporate "hands on" labs into every class session allowing students to become familiar with all tools and components from the very first class. CTI is very passionate about quality and we take pride in all we do. Our mission is to pass on our experience to our students & instill a sense of pride in their work ethic
CTI’s courses include certifying technicians according to the FOA and EIA/TIA Industry Standards. Courses now offered include Premise Cabling Technician, Fiber Optic Technician, Fiber Optic Splicing Specialist.
Classes are currently being held in various parts of NC, SC, GA, & VA. However, with advanced notice and a minimum of 7 students, we are capable of offering customized on-site training to meet and exceed the needs and goals of our clients anywhere in the United States.
Current Clients include - One of the Nation's Largest Service Providers, Community College Continuing Education Courses, Contractors, IT Staff of End Users, Small Businesses and Individual Technicians.
