Art and Design are passions that have been a part of our lives since we were children. We want to share our passion with people who are passionate about their own work, whatever it may be. We aim to create good design that inspires and helps other businesses like ours to grow. Our work ranges from letterheads and logos all the way to menus and book covers. If you need it, we can create it using yo

Our Story

With a degree in Fine Arts from Bowling Green State University, Ellie Bockert Augsburger got her start working in Cleveland, Ohio as a CGI Specialist. She got the pleasure to work commercially with big brands like Nike, Kitchenaid, Moen, Sony, and Schlage - just to name a few. During this time she learned lots of valuable skills and about how marketing and design are so closely linked.

In 2012 a good friend and self-publishing author reached out to Ellie about a cover he would like designed for his own book. Enjoying the challenge and excitement of researching design trends and thinking of little gems that could be hidden in the design she then started seeking out more cover projects to do in her spare time. That friend went on and told other authors about Ellie’s design skills and her clientele for cover design grew. Ellie then left her job at the commercial studio to commit her artistic talents to the self-publishing industry fully and hasn’t looked back since.

What started out as a simple, one-woman design studio quickly evolved into a one-stop self publishing shop. With Ellie’s husband Carl being a professional editor, adding various editing services seemed like the perfect next step. Creative Digital Studios has expanded to offer formatting services, web design, and even video trailers. We’re growing in services, clientele, and in the team.
