Congrats to our newest student of the week, Brandice Scott. She is being acknowledged for her most recent test grade. I will let her own words describe her reasoning for being in the EMT class:
Brandice: “I am excited about becoming a future EMT because I have always had a passion for helping others, making a difference, and being someone people can depend on. As a mother of three beautiful children, I have learned the true meaning of patience, compassion, responsibility, strength, and putting the needs of others before my own. Being a mother has taught me how to remain strong during challenging situations, think quickly, and provide comfort and reassurance when it is needed most. Along with motherhood, being a hairstylist has allowed me to develop strong communication skills, build meaningful relationships, and connect with people from all different walks of life. I consider myself a loving, caring, hardworking, determined, and understanding person who is always willing to lend a helping hand. What excites me most about becoming an EMT is having the opportunity to take those qualities and use them to make a difference in someone’s life, especially during their most vulnerable moments. I look forward to gaining new knowledge, challenging myself, learning lifesaving skills, and becoming a dependable healthcare professional.”
Keep it up girl!!!
