Harper Tech was proud to take part in United Way of Southwest Alabama 100 Days Of Caring. During our weekly team meeting, our team prepared hygiene packs, snack bags, and organized supplies to support five organizations doing meaningful work to serve and strengthen our community.

We’re thankful to play a small part alongside the people and organizations making a difference every day.

As part of 100 Days of Caring, Harper Technologies, L.L.C. hosted a collection drive to support as many partner agencies as possible. Their effort helped gather essential items that will benefit multiple organizations serving families and individuals across our community. This initiative reflects the impact of coming together to meet local needs in Southwest Alabama.

As AI continues to shape the way we approach work, leadership, and service, our president, Abe Harper recently shared practical insights with Rotary Club of Mobile on how to use AI as a tool, not a human replacement, while emphasizing the pillars of responsible AI.

He left the room with both a reminder and a challenge. AI is designed to give us time back. The real question is, how are you using that time to make an impact?

2FA = Two-Factor (or Multi-Factor) Authentication.
Think of it as a digital dead bolt.

It works by combining two forms of verification:
Something you know (like your password)
And something you have (like your phone, app, or code)

When 2FA/MFA is turned on, you’ll need both to log in. That means even if your password gets compromised, it can't be accessed without your second factor.

Pro tip: Never approve a 2FA/MFA prompt you didn’t just trigger yourself. While it does adds an additional layer of protection, it is not impenetrable. Hackers are getting sneaky with imitation websites, so always double-check before entering your code.
