Gecko Designs, a full-service web design and creative agency, is hiring a Marketing and Social Media Associate to help manage both internal and client digital marketing needs, including media planning and buying via traditional and digital mediums, as well as managing client social media accounts, planning, and ex*****on. This position will coordinate and oversee day-to-day ex*****on of marketing and social media efforts, including but not limited to media planning and buying, Google Adword campaigns and monitoring of Google Analytics, planning and managing social platforms, and market research. The Marketing Associate will have an acute understanding of measurable outcomes to share, including presenting media plans, recommendations, and reporting to clients.
A new position on the growing team at Gecko Designs, the Marketing and Social Media Associate will collaborate with many co-workers, including CEO, CFO, Project Managers, Creative and Development team members to build and execute digital marketing strategies. This position will have a 6-month onboarding plan that will include training, mentorship, and job shadowing. This Associate will work closely with the CFO and Business Development Manager to create processes to scale the role and leverage learnings, which may include training and growing a media team as a result of increased revenue.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
*Prepare reports on marketing and sales metrics
*Collect and analyze consumer behavior data (e.g. web traffic and rankings)
*Conduct market research and identify new opportunities
*Coordinate with the design team to generate digital and print advertising material
*Execute Google Adword Campaigns
*Develop and implement a corporate social media strategy
*Identify opportunities to influence public perception through audience engagement and strategy
*Monitor and report on Google Analytics behaviors, goals, and conversions
*Monitor and report competitors' marketing and sales activities
*Plan, create and manage social media campaigns of varying budgets for multiple clients
Qualifications
*Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications or related field.
*Minimum of 5 years of experience in agency work, sales, marketing or a related field.
*Experience creating and managing Pay-Per-Click campaigns (Google and social media)
*Possess search engine, web analytics, and business research tools acumen
*Strong communication and presentations skills
*Proficiency with SEO/SEM campaigns
*Superior oral and written communication skills, as well as active listening skills.
*Ability to manage complex projects, multi-task, and independently prioritize tasks to achieve short- and long-term goals.
*Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
*Embrace a spirit of curiosity and learning.
*Ability to balance strategic thinking with tactical, get-the-job-done ex*****on.
*Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and prioritize workload.

*IT fluency - able to learn new systems and technologies with ease. Experience with project management software (Jira) and the Adobe Creative Suite would be advantageous.
*Comfortable using a computer for various tasks.
