Let’s mix some Waterbased Ink! Using products, printers can achieve the rich color found throughout the spectrum!
•
Tricks for mixing Waterbased ink
1. Be very accurate with the weight of the pigment required for each recipe.
2. Once all pigment has been added, premix to make sure none of it sticks to walls or gets stuck in any grooves. (Unmixed pigment can cause streaks in the print!)
3. Use a drill with a spatula attachment to really blend well.
4. Finally strain the ink with leftover screen mesh to catch and unblended chunks of pigment or any other impurities that could affect the print quality. (This is the most important step)
5. Print it!
