A Quick Business Update
Over the past year, I’ve done my best to accommodate customers who only needed one or two items, personal projects, or very small orders. I understand that these types of jobs can sometimes be difficult to find someone willing to take on, and I’ve always tried to help when I could.
However, I can no longer continue accepting these micro-orders and one-off projects. I’ll finish the small projects I currently have in progress, but moving forward, minimum order requirements will apply to all new projects.
The reason is simple: small jobs can require just as much communication, preparation, production time, and administrative work as larger projects, while generating very little return. At this point, I need to focus my time and resources on projects that make sense for the business and allow me to continue providing quality work.
Going Forward
• All projects will have minimum order requirements.
• All products and services must be purchased directly through my business.
• Turnaround times are estimates, not guarantees.
• Projects are completed in the order they are scheduled and may be affected by workload, supplier delays, equipment issues, illness, or other circumstances.
• Rush service is not automatically available and should never be assumed.
• Client-provided content, information, artwork, approvals, photos, text, or other materials needed to complete a project must be provided in a timely and reasonable manner.
• If required content or approvals are significantly delayed, incomplete, or repeatedly changed, the project may be moved to the end of the current production rotation and rescheduled based on availability.
Respectful Communication
I completely understand asking for an update or checking on the status of a project. What I cannot continue to accommodate are angry or disrespectful messages—or repeated emails pressuring me to move a project ahead of others.
If a customer sends a message that crosses that line or attempts to pressure me into an unreasonable turnaround time, I reserve the right to immediately terminate the project.
If a project is terminated no refund will be provided for work, services, production, or other costs already incurred. Any customer-supplied apparel, materials, or digital assets provided specifically for the project will be returned to the customer, where applicable.
I’m a one-person, self-employed business. There isn’t a production department sitting behind me ready to push one project ahead of everyone else. I work hard for every customer I take on, and I expect the same level of professionalism and respect in return.
This year threw some curve balls my way, projects were delayed and timelines missed. I have done my best to advise my clients, explain the situation and recover as quickly as I can. 99% of clients were understanding and worked with me. This also factors into why I'm not accepting anymore personal or micro jobs and being selective on who I work with.
I currently have one remaining project that was delayed due to some unfortunate circumstances over the summer. S**t happens. Once that project is completed, I’ll be moving forward with these new guidelines and will also be more selective about the projects I take on.
I’m also fighting the flu this week while trying to keep things moving, so I appreciate everyone's patience.
I genuinely appreciate everyone who has supported my business and continues to trust me with their projects. These changes aren't about turning people away—they're about creating a sustainable business, setting realistic expectations, creating a professional boundry and making sure I can continue doing quality work for the customers I choose to work with.
Thank you for understanding and respecting the new guidelines.
