Hi all. Steve’s memorial service will be on Friday, May 28th at 1:00 pm at Wooddale Church, 6630 Shady Oak Rd, Eden Prairie, MN 55344. (This is Steve's regular church, where he ushered on Sundays). Steve’s family is also planning a smaller, informal reception for family and close friends at the farm later that weekend (more details TBD).

We wanted to share that Steve passed away early this morning. He was in no pain, at peace. He’s been surrounded by friends and family over the past few days; including so many customers who became friends, who became family. Such a gift to be surrounded by all this love and laughter. Please be in touch, keep sharing memories; we will reach out with details about his service here soon. Looking forward to finding ways to celebrate Steve, true and steadfast friend to so many.

Dear friends, this is a message from Steve (written with help from Nanci and Terri): To my family, who have always been with me; to my customers who became my friends; and to my friends who became family. I love you all. I cherish all of our memories. When I was first diagnosed with cancer, I thought I had a year, but with each test, my time got shorter: two months, two weeks, now a short time. I am unable to take texts or calls anymore. I feel your love and your prayers. “The grass withers, the flowers fades, but the word of our God stands forever.” (Isaiah 40:8).

Steve is resting comfortably, surrounded by friends and family. Tired, but in no pain. He’s looking out the window: at tall trees, new green grass, a spring day. If you want to post a message here to Steve, we’ll read them here as we are able. We’ll continue to update you.
