If hasn’t already gotten your tails wagging, just wait until you hear about the drop by snuggles! The Indiana Canine Assistant Network (ICAN) is Indiana’s only accredited service dog organization, transforming lives by pairing expertly trained service dogs with adults, children, and Veterans living with disabilities.

ICAN operates with a dual mission: most of its dogs are trained by incarcerated individuals in three Indiana prisons, creating meaningful change for both the handlers and the clients the dogs ultimately serve. The organization often says it is changing lives on both ends of the leash.

Meet Jennifer Tenn, Learning and Development Lead at akoyaGO!🎉

With 8 years in the foundation space, and time as a former akoyaGO user, Jennifer discovered an interest in database management. As database management became more and more central to her role, that experience led her to akoyaGO.

🌟Jennifer’s favorite part of the job is delivering impactful trainings and resources to help clients see the comprehensive, full picture of akoyaGO. She especially loves being part of the “a-ha” moments when clients connect the dots and everything comes together.

📆What else does Jennifer love about her job? The annual EMPOWERED user conference! EMPOWERED gives us all an opportunity to connect with clients and staff in person since we’re spread out around the country.

💡Her tip for new akoyaGO users: "Learn to walk before you try to run. Give yourself time as you learn the new software, pace yourself, and start by focusing on the basics. Take advantage of your resources like webinars, User Groups, recordings, etc."

🐶When she’s not working, Jennifer likes spending time with her dog Remy, named after the rat in Ratatouille.
