While much of the team’s work happens in the spotlight, Nick is the steady force behind the scenes making sure everything that needs to shine actually does. As the company’s first technical hire and longest-standing team member since 2018, he ensures every system is programmed, wired, tested, and delivered on time.

With a Bachelor’s degree in Theology of Leadership and nearly a decade of experience serving as both a tech director and executive creative director for a multi-campus organization, Nick brings thoughtful leadership and technical precision to every project. Meticulous, adaptable, and the rare “read the manual first” type, he thrives in the warehouse — sleeves rolled up, solving cable chaos with calm expertise.

Outside of work, he’s a devoted husband, father of two, passionate soccer fan (eight leagues strong), and loyal Chelsea supporter.

RiverGlen Christian Church's LED walls bring a whole new look to their worship space.

But one of the most important parts of the project happened behind the scenes. The new LED walls needed to work seamlessly with RiverGlen’s existing Panasonic cameras, so Avenue used ATS Pro’s “Shutter Fit” technology to prevent moiré and flickering.

That means the displays look great in the room and on the livestream — an important detail that can easily get overlooked when upgrading technology.

Meet Brooke, our Special Projects Manager!
Brooke joined Avenue Systems in 2025 following the merger of Sears Audio & Video with Avenue Systems. She brings years of experience in education, along with hands-on experience running an AV company with her husband.

Today, she keeps a little bit of everything moving. From staff initiatives and database management to marketing and social media. She’s strategic, creative, adaptable, and always looking for ways to improve systems and turn ideas into action.

Outside of work, Brooke enjoys life at the beach with her family, traveling, being on the water, reading, hiking, and practicing yoga.

Today is Giving Day!

Over the past week, we’ve shared a little about why Shepherds College has become more than a client to us.

We’ve gotten to know their team, learned more about their mission, and had the opportunity to spend time serving alongside them during our staff retreat.

Today, we’re asking you to join us in supporting the important work they’re doing for young adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Sometimes a client relationship becomes something more.

Our relationship with Shepherds College began through our work together. But as we got to know their team and learn more about the students they serve, we quickly realized there was something much bigger happening beyond the project.

During our staff retreat, our Avenue team had the opportunity to spend part of our time serving alongside the Shepherds team and helping improve their space for the students they serve.

Getting to step away from our usual work, roll up our sleeves, and invest our time in an organization making a difference was incredibly meaningful for our team.
We’re grateful that our work brought us to Shepherds College, but even more grateful for the relationship that grew from it.

In June, our team came together for our annual staff retreat. This is a few days dedicated to collaboration, connection, and looking ahead.

Between team meetings, professional development, community service, and time spent together, it was a great opportunity to strengthen our team and reflect on what makes Avenue Systems special: the people behind the work.

We’re grateful for the time together and look forward to carrying that momentum into the year ahead.

Avenue Systems helped update this multi-purpose space with new audio, projection, lighting, and acoustic treatments.

Designed to support worship, overflow services, meals, and large gatherings, the updated system gives Henderson Hills Baptist Church a more flexible and functional space.
