One of the lesser-known perks of making the Milwaukee Brewers' Racing Sausages is that, on occasion, one of our employees gets to take one out for a test drive. It’s one of the benefits of having such a unique business under our roof!

Last week, our Milwaukee Plant Manager, Eric, had the honor of stepping into the role of the Polish Sausage ( #2). Sure, he may have finished fourth. However, we here at Olympus Mascots still consider it a huge win!

-Once-in-a-lifetime opportunity

A recap of the 2026 Company Picnic:

Yesterday's outing was exactly what we needed. Everyone brought their families along, calzones got demolished, the bounce house had a line of kids all day, and shaved ice saved us from the heat.

We photobooth'd. We bingo'd. We vibed.

And then someone found the water balloon stash.

What started as an innocent discovery turned into a full-blown, no-mercy war. There were no rules and there was definitely no dry clothing left by the end of it. Special shoutout to Dan, who looked like a Super Bowl winning coach after getting drenched with the leftover cooler water. Word around the office is he's on the hunt for revenge. (Please go after Jennifer, Dan. It was her idea. We were just pawns.)

Turns out that throwing water balloons is significantly more fun than the 30 minutes we spent picking up 400 tiny bits of popped balloon rubber from the grass. A humbling life lesson for us all. One worth it, as we left that field free of balloon shrapnel and in better condition than we found it.

Huge thanks to the Milwaukee Parks Department for hosting us. You gave us a beautiful place to act like kids for an afternoon.

Until next year (Dan, maybe bring a towel).

When the office is only ten minutes away from an event like this, it's an easy "yes."

Last night, some of the Olympus team headed over to Brown Deer National Night Out, where we spent the evening meeting local families, chatting with community members, chowing down on some tacos, and watching Oly make plenty of new friends.

From local businesses and food trucks to Zumba, fire trucks, and the tireless work of Brown Deer's first responders, the event was a blast for everyone.

Thank you to the Brown Deer Police Department for inviting us to join you. We had a great time and are grateful for opportunities to support the communities that support us.

Good events don't happen by accident.

They take organizers, volunteers, sponsors, participants, and a whole community coming together for something bigger than themselves.

We were proud to support this year's Audaxity Ride by donating graphics for the event. Ollie joined in the fun by posing for photos, cheering on riders, shooting a few hoops, and even bumping into some friends like the Milwaukee Bucks.

It's always rewarding to see our work become part of an event that's making a real difference. Thank you to everyone who organized, volunteered, rode, donated, and cheered from the sidelines. We're grateful to have played a small role in supporting cancer research and the incredible community behind this event.

HALO lighting -- most people only see the finished product. What they don't see is everything that happens before the sign ever lights up.

Projects like this combine CNC routing, fabrication, electronics, assembly, testing, and finishing. Every step builds on the last until a flat logo becomes a dimensional display.

Every letter is individually fabricated, fitted with LEDs, tested, and mounted before the wiring disappears behind the panel. When it's finished, all that's left is a clean halo glow.

We enjoy sharing projects like these because they offer a look behind the scenes at the craftsmanship that goes into every build. It's easy to admire the finished product, but without every cut, every wire, and every test, it simply wouldn't exist.

The Marketing team is wrapping up our time in Las Vegas and heading back home after an incredibly productive week.

We spent the week capturing photos, videos, and plenty of content that we will be sharing throughout the fall to showcase our custom frame capabilities. From custom illuminated lightboxes and hanging snap-tube structures to HALO-lit letters and giant extrusion arches, we filled our cameras with projects we cannot wait to show you.

One thing became very clear while we were there. This industry is not slowing down.

The production floor was busy from the moment we arrived, with custom frames and fabric moving through every department everywhere we looked. If this is what the "slow season" looks like, we are excited to see what the fall brings.

Everyone says June and July are the "slow season" for trade shows.

You could have fooled us.

We flew part of our marketing team to our Las Vegas facility expecting a little breathing room. Instead, we walked into a production floor that looked like the middle of fall show season.

Every department was moving. Everywhere we looked, another custom exhibit was taking shape.

That's a great sign for the industry—but it's also a reminder that the fall rush has already begun.

(And we managed to sneak in a birthday celebration for Ray while we were there!)
