Agency Bel is now Brandworth, a brand strategy and design consultancy helping companies clarify who they are, strengthen market perception, and build business value before growth, transition, sale, or reinvention. I partner with businesses to uncover their unique voice, craft powerful identities, and build meaningful connections with their most valuable customers. Your brand has a story to tell—and I’m here to help you shape it and share it. www.agencybel.com

🤔 What does your workspace say about you?
This morning I took a photograph of my desk.

Not because it was tidy. Not because it was beautiful.
Because I was curious.

As many of you know, after nearly 25 years in business, I recently rebranded my company. Agency Bel became **The Brandworth Agency**.

The process was exciting, emotional, confronting, and long overdue.

Then I had a strange thought:
If I was willing to reinvent my brand... should I reinvent my workspace too?

So I uploaded a photo of my desk into an AI interior design tool to see what it might suggest. (Swipe to see the AI version.)

But before I decide whether to change anything, I started looking more closely at what's already here.

📚 *Building for Buyout*
📚 *Traction*
📚 *No Bu****it Strategy*
📚 *Building a StoryBrand*

A stack of journals filled with ideas.
A photo of my daughters and our dog Zuzu.
A Buddha.
A meditating golden dog.
Wonder Woman.
Pema Chödrön's Compassion Cards.
A feather photograph from Napa.
A sacred geometry symbol. And a tiny Pikachu sitting in the middle of it all.

⚡ Because after 25 years of entrepreneurship, parenting, reinvention, victories, failures, and a few hard-earned lessons, I've learned that joy deserves a permanent seat at the table.

Looking at this collection, I realized something:
This desk isn't random.
It's a map.

It tells the story of someone who loves strategy and spirituality.
Business and creativity.
Systems and intuition.
Someone who can talk about business value, succession planning, and brand strategy in the morning—and mindfulness, purpose, and compassion in the afternoon.

In other words...

It feels a lot like me.

And yet, I'm wondering if this space should evolve too.
The business has changed.
The brand has changed.
I've changed.

Maybe the room should change as well.

👇 So tell me:
What would you keep?
What would you remove?
What would you add?

And most importantly...

**What do you see as possible for me next?**

We launched this week.

"When you are creating something, you will usually find that once things appear 90 percent done, you are actually about halfway there. But you have to create the first 90 percent in order to see the half that needs to be revised."

Last week, while onboarding our new summer intern at , I found myself walking through the incredible range of clients currently inside the agency:

A luxury fashion designer relaunching after years away from the spotlight.
A teen sailing company navigating a marketing transition.
A restaurant reinventing itself after a legal separation forced a total rebrand.
An architect evolving from founder-led studio into a scalable firm.
A nonprofit helping underserved students access innovation and paid internships.
A $300M appliance company rebuilding retailer confidence and consumer connection.
An estate planning attorney trying to make difficult conversations feel more human.

Different industries.
Different scales.
Different deliverables.

But underneath all of it was the SAME challenge:
How does a business position itself clearly enough that the right people immediately understand its value?

Not “making things look pretty.”
Not just logos.
Not social media for the sake of posting.
Positioning.

Because:
• Consumers form first impressions in seconds.
• 77% of B2B buyers say purchasing decisions are increasingly complex.
• Emotionally connected customers buy more and stay longer.
• Consistent branding can increase revenue by 20%+.
• And differentiated companies outperform “me too” competitors over time.

What I’m realizing again and again is this:
Most businesses don’t actually have a marketing problem.
They have a clarity problem.

They struggle to articulate:
• why they matter
• what sets them apart
• who they’re really for
• and what space they want to own

So the deliverables become the manifestation of that clarity:
Naming.
Identity systems.
Messaging.
Websites.
Thought leadership.
Packaging.
Environmental graphics.
Social strategy.
Investor positioning.
Sales narratives.
Internal alignment.
Different outputs.

One central objective:
Helping businesses become easier to understand, easier to trust, and ultimately… more valuable.

I was onboarding our new intern at Brandworth last week and giving her the “grand tour” of what’s currently happening inside the agency.

As I talked through the projects out loud, I had one of those moments where you suddenly realize:
“Wow… these businesses could not be more different.”

Right now we’re working with:
• hospitality brands
• architects
• nonprofits
• consumer product companies
• consultants
• legal firms
• luxury creatives
• retail concepts
• founders in transition
• and companies preparing for their next phase of growth

Some need:
→ a new name
→ a clearer story
→ a stronger identity
→ better positioning
→ social strategy
→ packaging
→ investor-facing messaging
→ website restructuring
→ SEO optimization
→ thought leadership
→ or ongoing fractional CMO support

But almost every engagement starts with the same underlying issue:
The business has evolved…
…but the market’s understanding of them hasn’t.

And that gap becomes expensive.
Expensive in missed opportunities.
Expensive in sales friction.
Expensive in referrals.
Expensive in recruiting.
Expensive in customer confidence.
Expensive in valuation.

According to Forbes, consistent branding can increase revenue by up to 23%.
Harvard Business Review has written extensively about how strategic clarity improves decision-making internally, not just externally.

And Edelman’s Trust Barometer continues to show that buyers increasingly choose companies they understand and trust, not simply the cheapest or loudest option.

That’s why strategy comes first in our process.
Before design.
Before marketing.
Before campaigns.
Because if you don’t know:
• who you are
• what space you own
• why you matter
• and who you’re trying to attract
…everything downstream becomes harder.

The older I get, the more I realize:
great branding is rarely about decoration.
It’s about reducing confusion.
And businesses that reduce confusion tend to grow faster.
