PI X Group and National Taiwan University announce the first live crowdfunding event in Silicon Valley to take place Saturday April 30th at Meritronics in Milipitas, CA. This Silicon Valley event will be hosted by SVABC (Silicon Valley Angels, Backers, and Crowdfunders) and PI x Group (Prime Investors).

The event will kick off with a discussion panel “Innovation: East meets West”, as executives from established accelerators, crowdfunding platforms, and academia take part in a LIVE discussion. Panel participants include: Hackers Founders COO Newton Paskin, Vice Superintendents of National Taiwan University and CoinX Capital CEO Eric Huang. The second session features LIVE rewards-based crowdfunding, where select, pre-crowdfunded teams have the opportunity to present their innovative, technology-based ideas and backers will be given an opportunity to back the most innovative.

Special guests include the Mayor of Milpitas Jose Estevez and Vice Superintendents from National Taiwan University Shu-hsing Li and Ming-Je Tang. Eric Huang, CEO of COINX Capital, and Dior Wu, founder of MRT Certified for crowdfunders.
