⚠️ Is your computer running Windows 11 version 24H2?

Microsoft will stop providing security updates for Windows 11 Home and Pro version 24H2 on October 13, 2026.

Windows 11 itself is not going away. Eligible computers simply need to be updated from version 24H2 to the newer 25H2 release. The update is normally free and does not require purchasing another Windows license.

🚨 Don’t Trust That Pop-Up!

If a message suddenly appears saying your computer is infected—and tells you to call “Microsoft” or “Apple”—don’t call the number.

These warnings are usually scams designed to frighten you into giving someone remote access to your computer.

✅ Close the browser
✅ Don’t call the number
✅ Don’t download anything
✅ Never give an unexpected caller remote access

Strong passwords are an important first step—but don’t stop there.

Use a different password for every important account, store them in a reputable password manager and enable two-factor authentication whenever it’s available.

Scammers often create emails that look urgent so you’ll click before thinking.

Before opening a link or attachment, verify the sender’s address and watch for unexpected password resets, invoices and account warnings. When in doubt, contact the company through its official website—not through the email.
