From researching content and exploring design ideas to helping bring our clients' brands to life on social media, Nyla gets a firsthand look at the many moving pieces that make great marketing happen.

While our team may work from different locations, we're connected by the same passion for creativity, collaboration, and helping our clients stand out.

And as we celebrate 20 years of KKPR, it's especially fun to see how the way we work has evolved. The desks have changed, the technology has changed, and the next generation of creative minds is bringing fresh perspectives to the table.

One of the greatest privileges of what we do at KKPR is getting to work alongside people who are genuinely passionate about making a difference in their communities. And the team at Greater Pike Community Foundation is certainly no exception.

We had the pleasure of celebrating with Greater Pike at its Annual Dinner this September at the beautiful Cedar Lakes Estate in Port Jervis, NY. An evening dedicated to recognizing generosity, celebrating community leadership, and honoring the people and organizations helping shape Pike County's future.

We’ve had the privilege of working with American Renaissance School on everything from their website to ongoing marketing initiatives, and the goal has always been bigger than simply creating something that looks good.

It’s about understanding what they need, asking the right questions, being responsive when those needs change and helping them communicate who they are to the families and community they serve.

Things change in 20 years. A lot.
*
Once upon a time, this was the view from my office.
*
There were people working down the hall. Camera equipment piled into corners. Furniture that regularly got rearranged because suddenly the office needed to become a video set. And days when the guys packed everything up and headed out on location to capture whatever story we were telling next.
*
Today, the view from my desk looks very different.
*
Our team works remotely. The faces have changed over the years. The technology has definitely changed. The way we create, communicate, collaborate and deliver work has evolved more times than I could possibly count.
*
And, thankfully, we no longer have to turn the office upside down every time we need to shoot a video. 😂
*
But as I look back on 20 years of KKPR, there's one thing that hasn't changed:
The reason we do any of it; to find the story worth telling; to figure out what makes a business, an organization or a person genuinely different and then find the most meaningful, creative and effective way to share it with the people who need to hear it.
*
The tools, platforms, and people change; hell even, the view from my desk changes.But the purpose doesn't.
*
And maybe that's one of the greatest lessons 20 years in business can teach you.
You don't have to stay the same to stay true to who you are. 💗
*
Here’s to 20 years of changing, creating, adapting, figuring it all out... and always remembering why we started in the first place.

There are some events I attend as a business owner and then there are some I’m really grateful I get to attend as a mom. 💙
*
I brought Sophia with me to Greater Pike Community Foundation’s Legacy Event, and somewhere between the conversations, the celebration and her happily working the room with me, I found myself thinking about what it means to build something that lasts.
*
We talk a lot about legacy in business. The companies we build. The work we do. The communities we invest in. But I think part of legacy is also about who we bring along with us.
*
I want her to grow up seeing what it looks like when people show up for their communities. When businesses give back. When neighbors invest in neighbors. When people use what they have built to make where they live a little better for the people coming behind them.
*
She may not understand any of that yet. For now, she knows there were people to meet, places to explore, and she got to go to a “work thing” with Mommy. 😂
*
But someday, I hope she understands why I brought her.
*
