Today was one of our favorite days at Mid-Del Technology Center! We got to brag a little on our programs, celebrate the great things happening at MDTC, and spend time with an incredible group of Partners in What’s Next!

But these meetings are about more than sharing what we do. They’re about listening, learning, and making sure we’re preparing our students for what comes next. Our industry partners give us valuable insight into what employers are looking for, and those relationships help us connect what students learn in the classroom to what they’ll face in the real world.

We also spent time with our staff reflecting on the past year and continuing the work of shaping our strategic plan. As we look ahead, we know our best ideas come from listening to the people who make MDTC what it is. Our partners, community, students, and staff all have a voice in helping us define our vision and determine where we go next.

To everyone who shared their time, ideas, and perspective today, thank you for being part of the journey! We’re grateful for the relationships we’re building and the role each of you plays in helping our students be Built for What’s Next.

Because the best way to build what’s next is to build it together!

Fall is knocking at our door, and if the forecasts are any indication, we may be in for some seriously chilly days ahead. The question isn’t if you’ll need a cozy blanket. We know you do, it’s whether you’ll be ready!

Enter Knot Your Average Blanket! Your chance to turn a little yarn into your new favorite cold-weather companion.

Learn the art of hand knitting and create your very own chunky blanket. No needles. No experience required. Just super-soft yarn, your own two hands, and a little creativity.

Building Skills. Building Futures. Built for What’s Next.

We are incredibly proud of our Mid-Del Technology Center students who competed in the Bricklayer 500 at Independent Material Co. in Tulsa!

This competition is about more than laying bricks. It takes skill, precision, determination, and pride in your work. It’s about putting in the effort, pushing yourself, and building something you can stand behind.

Our students showed up and delivered!

These students are doing more than learning a trade. They’re building confidence, developing skills, and creating opportunities for their future. Every brick they lay is another step toward what comes next.

Mid-Del Tech Center is fortunate to have into our classrooms demonstrating real world scenarios and career readiness!

Jessica Teszlewicz from Tinker Federal Credit U@tinkerfcu presented a " How to Adult" budgeting program. Students were given a real life scenario which two adults had jobs and monthly take home income. They planned a month budget included expenses of childcare, groceries, and transportation. This activity helped students understand financial decisions and budgeting responsibly.

Kristine Anderson from Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) discussed the importance of medical forms, full disclosers, expectations and procedures within the aviations field. Students gained insight on what responsibility and requirements involving aircraft careers.

Mid-Del Tech Center is grateful for our community partners who take the time to share a real- world experiences with our students . These opportunities help our students be in their future careers

We are proud to present our recent adult cosmetology graduates!

We are proud to celebrate Molly Hellums, Gianna Anglin, and Julie Haynes

Molly is working part time at beauty salon and plans to go full time once she passes her board testing

Gianna will be working in her dads hair shop

Julie will begin working full time nail tech next week after her state testing

Congrats to these hard working students and their effort and dedication to the program. We are so excited to see how far you grow! We love seeing are shining bright, we couldnt be more proud of their success

Team MDTC hit the streets for the Carl Albert Homecoming Parade! 🕷️🧍‍♂️

Bringing that Spider-Man vibe and plenty of Mid-Del Schools (Oklahoma) spirit, we joined the celebration and brought some web-slinging energy to the route. Thanks, Carl Albert High School for an incredible homecoming parade and GOOD LUCK to carl_albert_football on tonight’s game!
