FERRY FAMILY | FALL ADVENTURES

Who says family photos have to be all about sitting still and smiling at the camera?!

We spent the afternoon exploring the gardens, searching for fish and frogs, laughing, and watching the kids attempt to climb just about every tree they could find!

And THAT is what I love about family photography!

The exploring, the giggles, the unexpected moments, and the genuine connections in between the posed pictures.

A family session can be so much more than just photos. It can be an adventure, a chance to have fun together, and memories you'll laugh about for years to come.

Drew. Lake Michigan. A breathtaking sunset. And a moment that made me stop editing just to admire it.

Sometimes everything comes together — the light, the colors, the movement, the moment — and you capture something that feels a little extra special.

The Potter family brought ALL the smiles to their fall session!

Nine-month-old Lily was absolutely adorable, exploring the leaves, flashing those big blue eyes, and soaking up every moment. And of course, her four-legged sidekick Penny wasn't about to miss out on the fun!

Between the puppy kisses, family snuggles, and gorgeous golden sunshine, we had an absolute blast capturing this sweet little crew!

These are the moments that make family photography so special.

🪂💍 SHE JUMPED OUT OF AN AIRPLANE… BUT HAD NO IDEA WHAT WAS WAITING WHEN SHE LANDED! ❤️

Talk about taking love to new heights! ✈️

Kyle and Sailor traveled from Cincinnati, Ohio, for an adventure they would never forget!

After jumping out of an airplane, Sailor thought she'd already experienced the biggest thrill of the day. Little did she know, Kyle had one more surprise planned! 💍

With both of their families there to witness the moment, Kyle dropped to one knee and asked Sailor to spend forever with him.

SHE SAID YES! ❤️

From the adrenaline of skydiving to the sweetest surprise proposal, followed by hugs, happy tears, and a ch*****ne celebration — this was one unforgettable afternoon!

Congratulations, Kyle and Sailor! 🥂❤️ Thank you for trusting Lake Photography to capture such an incredible chapter of your love story!
