With a background in psychology and neuroscience, creating for the mental health space feels like I’m bringing both sides of my world together—designing something impactful while supporting such an important cause. 💚

Had an amazing time working on this med spa branding project. Just as we don’t compare apples and oranges, Ripe embraces that everyone’s flavor of beauty is unique and can’t be compared. 🍒🍇🍓🍋🍌🍉

We were inspired by vintage editorial ads for beauty brands (and, admittedly, my big sister’s magazine adds I spent way too much in deciding if I was a spring or autumn) 🫠🫠

🪩Tapping into a retro aesthetic with modern touches, we drew inspiration from vintage beauty brands, textures and palettes.

We prioritized a certain sense of flirtation, tongue-in-cheek, and playfulness to the brand that aims to keep the tone casual and easy to connect with, but professional.

I can’t wait to share more from this project, and a huge thank you to the founders and for allowing me so much creative freedom in the process.

Hypnagogia is a fascinating and enigmatic state of consciousness that occurs during the transitional period between wakefulness and sleep. It is characterized by vivid mental imagery, fleeting hallucinations, and a heightened sense of creativity and introspection. As someone with a background in psychology and neuroscience, unique and mysterious mental states have always been fascinating to me. As a daydreamer and self proclaimed space cadet myself, hypnagogia represents (in a way)a gateway to the subconscious, where innovative ideas and unconventional thoughts emerge.

By naming my design agency after this concept, I aim to capture the essence of this unique mental state, channeling its creativity, inspiration, and boundless potential into our work. Our agency strives to tap into the depths of imagination, merging the realms of science and art to deliver innovative and captivating design solutions.
