Each episode will tackle a specific challenge, and with the assistance of experts, we'll bring the hospitality community solutions from real-life examples.

About our host Omri Shalev:

"Unlike most hoteliers who have spent many years in hotels and other hospitality businesses, I come from a completely different background. At 15, I lived in Mexico City, where I was first introduced to engineering. Since then, I've been passionate about solving problems through software."

After moving between several startups and large companies like Samsung and Microsoft, I decided it was time to create something of my own.
Together with my hotelier partner and good friend Henrik Shimony, we co-founded Reeco, a software that helps hospitality businesses integrate AI into their back-of-house operations, helping in purchasing, receiving, recipe management, inventory, and payments to their vendors using the best technology out there.

Thanks to Reeco, I discovered the wonderful world of hospitality, its amazing people, and the endless opportunities to improve internal processes. The "Hospitality for Hospitality" podcast was inspired by the startup world, where there's a strong sense of giving back to other entrepreneurs in the community.
