Florida is good! Great neighborhood. Great house. Near family. It's been a good change.

I've been unpacking for four months, rediscovering old memories. The House of Used was a dream come true. On to the next new thing...

Part of the reason of moving to Florida was to be a part of a new startup. We didn't tell anyone because it was still a concept. We are ready to announce it.

Nearly 40 years of being tired has taught me the importance of a good night's rest. is our new venture. Great products. Also, you can design your own pillow filler. I'm impressed with how much we have accomplished in just a few months, but we are motivated to make this happen.

September 30, 2014, I stood at the windows by the drop box with Joe Stark. The lease had just been signed. Agents recently left. It was just Joe and I dreaming about the future in a vacant, dusty old Blockbuster.

We laid out many plans that day, but the biggest, most important decision of all was when Joe declared, "I want to make this a destination location, an icon in the community." Those words guided our decisions on how to decorate, who to hire, the product to carry, the services to offer, and more for over 10 years.

For Joe, it was never about the money. It was about the experience. He wanted to provide a great store to the community he loved.

So many memories...

You did it, my friend. Glad I could be along for the ride. Ready for the next adventure.
