EvoTek recently completed the layout of the CDU support framing for a large data center project.

Before layout began, we used 3D laser scanning to capture the existing conditions and verify our alignment. By overlaying the design models within the point cloud, we were able to compare the planned install against the actual field conditions, identify potential clashes, and provide the project team with a clear visual representation of how the new framing would fit within the space.

We recently wrapped up some work at the Duluth Entertainment Convention Center and had time to capture a few scans at the AMSOIL Arena. It’s impressive what the Leica RTC360 can capture in just 8 setup positions. Fast and detailed data collection.
