With the FBI – Federal Bureau of Investigation and other partners, we published an updated joint cybersecurity advisory on Scattered Spider, a cybercriminal group targeting commercial facilities sectors and subsectors.

The advisory includes information from public reports and FBI investigations as recently as June 2025.

FBI and CISA encourage network defenders and critical infrastructure organizations to review for recommended mitigations to reduce the likelihood and impact of a cyberattack by Scattered Spider actors.
