Protest against Police Brutality. Friday June 9th on Poplar and Highland
A few days ago , Our Brother Jamil Ibrahim an excellent Brother, a Hard working man, and a Peaceful Citizen was wrongfully arrested because of someone else's warrant' and he was punched and injured really bad from Police Officers serving at the Ridgeway Police Station in Memphis Tennessee. This is an act of brutality and a threat to our democracy. Our fundamentals rights are at stake and any elected official who doesn’t take a stand is turning their back on our Constitution. Racism need to end! We must stand together for what is in order to make a change...no matter the color or background ….We are all humans and deserve to be equal!
We are united in rightfully believing that the officers involved should face criminal prosecution. This Protest is not only about Jamil , it is also for all the innocent civilians out there and their families whom suffered badly from the Police disgusting behavior and racism.
This protest is about Justice and spread awareness to bad policing and police misconduct. We Support and Respect the Police Department but we are against Police Brutality.
