Made4SAP is a catalog of products and services of SAP solutions and third party solutions that was made for SAP systems. The catalog was built by SAP veterans and is enhanced by SAP community members. It includes products and services that was made by SAP AG., by Third party SAP certified vendors and by Third party independent vendors. The Made4SAP catalog founded with SAP users community in mind:
It includes solutions from the SAP broad business market and solutions that was made by community users ,uploaded to http://www.minipps.com
Community user can develop an application, using the http://www.minipps.com systems on the cloud, and upload the application to http://www.minipps.com with an intention to sell.The Made4SAP catalog and search engine will include those application in the catalog as well. The items in the catalog can be found using text search, but also group in an hierarchy tree. For instance, the product Copy Inspection results and Usage decision is listed under : ABAP engine -> SAP ERP product -> QM module because it is an AddOn for the QM module in SAP ERP systems. You can use the tree structure to list items in the catalog of a specific engine, system and module. SAP products:
About 300 products and services that were made by SAP AG itself. More than 1,000 products and services the were made by third party vendors under SAP Certification. About 10,000 products and services the were made by third party vendors and individuals without SAP Certification. Well, those numbers are hard to handle, especially if all of the solutions scattered across the web. If you are looking for a solution, and google/Bing/Yahoo is your only compass, the chance of you finding the right solution is not the highest. Generic search engine cannot find an add-on for SAP product SAP ERP, QM module, that copy inspection lots in the QM32 report. Generic search engines uses text search, not an SAP product and module as a category. The App4SAP community marketplace was founded by SAP veterans. The marketplace allows commerce using community members applications. In App4SAP Community, developers create (using Minipps cloud services), publish and put to sell mini applications for royalties gain. The mini applications will be checks by App4SAP and will be put to sell by App4SAP. The mini application will be catalog in the Made4SAP search engine. The App4SAP will validate the applications, handle the marketing, handle the sell process, handle the money exchange and supply the initial service. For every sell transaction, the original developer will be credited for the royalties share.
