I want to be sure I am protecting both my employees from radiation exposure and myself from possible litigation. How do I know I can trust DosimetryBadge products?

At Dosimetry Badge, we know that the quality of our products and our customers’ trust in them is paramount. For this reason, we only use Panasonic UD-800 Series TLD (thermoluminescent dosimeter) badges. These badges are considered the industry standard and are extremely reliable. They can accurately record even very small doses of radiation; in the event of any litigation, the data we collect from these badges will be considered 100% reliable by a court of law. Extensive testing has shown that these badges are more dependable than film badges and are also extremely rugged and resistant to mechanical impact. For the benefit of your employees, these badges are small, light and unobtrusive.

Dosimetry Badges uses an ISO 9001 accredited, NVLAP Accredited Laboratory (NVLAP Code 1100512-0), to process your results accurately and reliably every time.

Panasonic UD-800 Series Dosimetry Badge Features

*Tissue equivalent lithium borate phosphor (Li2B4O7:Cu) delivers a flat energy response over a low-to-high energy range.
*Highly sensitive calcium sulphate phosphor (CaSO4:Tm) allows precise measurement of low doses.
*Energy dependence is low and sensitivity is high.
*ID codes of upto 7 digits can be purchased.
*Small and lightweight.
*Filtration: Thin plastic window or thick plastic window or metal shields (Al, Pb, Cd and Sn can be mounted on the holder depending on badge application.
*Enriched lithium borate phosphors (7Li / 6Li) are available for neutron dosimetry.
*Skin doses can be measured.
*A locking mechanism prevents accidental contamination of the badge detection portion.

Any individual who is occupationally exposed to ionizing radiation and is likely to receive a dose in excess of 10 percent of the applicable annual allowable limit will be issued a radiation monitoring device (radiation dosimeter). The radiation dosimeter is worn by the individual to monitor and track external radiation exposures.
