We're grateful for the trust our clients place in us, and we're especially proud of team members like Tony who consistently go above and beyond to deliver the level of service our clients deserve.

Florida spent three legislative sessions debating a cybersecurity liability bill that would have given businesses legal protection in exchange for proving they had a real security program in place. The bill didn't make it. The standards it was built around did.

We broke down what those standards actually are, why they matter for your business right now, and what Florida law already requires of you whether you've been following the debate or not.

Worth a read if you handle customer data, carry cyber liability insurance, or just want to know where your business actually stands.

Florida Almost Passed a Cybersecurity Liability Law. Here Is What Every Business Should Know. Over the past three legislative sessions, Florida lawmakers introduced, advanced, and in one case passed a cybersecurity liability protection bill. The proposal would have allowed businesses to assert an af...

There is a moment most growing businesses hit where everything still works, technically. The server is running. Emails are going out. Nobody is complaining. And yet something feels slower, clunkier, more fragile than it used to.

That is usually not a coincidence.

The technology decisions made in year one of a business tend to follow that business for a long time. The server that was plenty powerful for five people starts showing its age at fifteen. The file sharing setup that worked fine when everyone was in one office gets creative when half the team goes hybrid. The "we will deal with it later" approach to backups becomes a much more interesting conversation after the first close call.

Good managed IT is not about having the newest equipment or the most expensive tools. It is about making sure the technology supporting your business today can actually support the business you are building tomorrow. That means someone is looking at the whole picture, not just fixing what breaks.

Most businesses do not outgrow their technology all at once. It happens gradually, one workaround at a time, until one day the infrastructure that was supposed to support the operation is quietly becoming the thing holding it back.

If your technology feels like it is keeping up but just barely, that is worth a conversation. πŸ‘‰https://artemisit.com/contact/

Travis Proctor and Teresa Ho have taken on something special.

The team behind Artemis IT have acquired CCCS Inc., a Brevard County technology institution founded in 1987 by Patty Ziegler, and Travis and Teresa are honored to carry her vision forward. Teresa has been named CEO of CCCS, bringing her financial and operations expertise to lead the company into its next chapter. Travis serves as CFO.

CCCS is a value-added reseller with a strong reputation in enterprise, aerospace, government, and public sector technology procurement and customers across the United States. Together, Artemis IT and CCCS now offer the Space Coast and beyond a broader, deeper range of technology solutions, from managed services and cybersecurity to enterprise procurement and software licensing, while each company continues doing what it does best.

Many thanks to Brevard Business News for covering the full story in this week's issue.

Nine years ago, Artemis IT got incredibly lucky, and we knew it pretty quickly.

Kathie has been the backbone of our contracts and billing for nine years, and she does it with the kind of sharp intelligence and genuine warmth that makes her the person everyone wants in their corner. She has a quick wit that makes the hard days easier and a gift for turning a problem into a plan before anyone else has finished describing it. What makes her truly special is the way she shows up for the people around her. Thoughtful, generous, and the kind of colleague who makes you feel like everything is going to be fine, because it usually is when Kathie is on it. And if you have ever seen her walk through the door, you already know she is a stunning vision every single day.

Cheers to nine years of sharp instincts, genuine kindness, and making this team better just by being part of it. We are so lucky to have you, Kathie. πŸŽ‰

Two hundred and fifty years ago, an idea became a nation.

What followed was a story written by generations of people who believed in something bigger than themselves. Founders who risked everything. Communities that rebuilt after hardship. Innovators who refused to accept limits. And dreamers who looked up at the sky and decided that was not the ceiling.

Here on the Space Coast, that last part hits a little closer to home.

On this Fourth of July we celebrate 250 years of resilience, progress, and the enduring belief that the next chapter can always be better than the last.

Happy 250th Birthday, America. Happy Independence Day to everyone celebrating.

🀣 Happy International Joke Day!

You know it's going to be a good day when the only thing getting hacked is our sense of humor.
In honor of International Joke Day, we present a collection of groan worthy IT classics. They are fully tested, mostly compliant, and guaranteed to generate at least one eye roll.

Warning:
⚠️ May cause spontaneous Ctrl Alt Del reactions.
⚠️ No printers were harmed during the making of these jokes. They jammed on their own.

Tell us your best IT joke in the comments. Bonus points if it makes the help desk groan louder than a Monday morning password reset.

Happy International Joke Day from the team at Artemis IT. We promise our cybersecurity is much stronger than our comedy. πŸ˜ŽπŸ’™
