A little bit of Our Story
Digital Guards Security Systems was founded in 2015 by two friends and business partners, Piero and Jose, with one simple goal: to treat customers the way we believe they deserve.
Before starting Digital Guards, we both worked in the security industry, including time with big brand names. That experience taught us a lot about security systems, customer service, and what customers really value. We saw an opportunity to build a company that could provide professional security solutions while still giving people the personal attention and dependable service they deserve.
We also come from very different backgrounds, which is part of what makes our partnership special. Piero is from Italy, and I am from Puerto Rico. For both of us, family is a big part of who we are. Piero has two sons, one in high school and the other is an alum at FIT, and I have three sons and two grandchildren. My oldest is in the United States Coast Guard, my middle one is a Detective at the UF Police Department, and the youngest is a Manager for a cellular carrier. That family mindset carries into the way we run Digital Guards.
When we started the company, we were not trying to become the biggest security company. We wanted to become the company people could trust — the one that answers the phone, shows up when promised, explains things clearly, and stands behind the work.
Over the years, Digital Guards has grown through the support of our customers, referrals, and the local community. We are proud to help protect homes and businesses with security cameras, alarm systems, access control, low-voltage wiring, and other security solutions.
More than anything, we are grateful for every customer who has trusted us over the years.
We love what we do, and that is what sets us apart.
