For years, Kaspersky has faced accusations and censure based on its Russian origins, though none of the accusations have come backed by hard evidence of malicious behavior. How fast can USB ports go? It all depends on your motherboard, the speed of the device you are connecting and the speed of the the other device, if connected to another device (like from SSD to SSD).

🐞 Windows 10’s May 2020 Update has some bugs
Despite a long development process with plenty of time for bug fixes, it looks like Windows 10’s May 2020 Update has a variety of bugs. It looks like most of the problems involve issues with third-party drivers and peripherals. Microsoft is working on fixing them.

Windows Update shouldn’t offer the update on any PCs it will have trouble with. We recommend against installing the new update using the Update Assistant tool, which skips Windows Update’s usual compatibility checks.

I've been working on a custom computer as the parts come in over the past few day. I have all the hardware in place. Now I only need the power supply from Newegg which is suppose to arrive tomorrow. After that I just need to put the Operating System on it and tweak it a bit for the customer.

Can Chrome browser extensions be harmful? Well, they can mine your data, record your passwords, and redirect your traffic. So, the answer is a resounding "yes"! One of the most common malicious extensions I remove from my customer's computers is the ASK Toolbar which is a search hijacker. However, there are plenty of helpful extensions that add true functionality to the browser. For me, for example, a few that I like to use, mostly out of necessity, and because I trust the companies that managed and created the extensions, are Adobe Acrobat, Evernote Web Clipper, and LastPass: Password Manager. What has your experience with Chrome web browser extensions been like? What are some of your favorites? Are there any that you're not quite sure you should trust?
