As 2023 comes to a close, and I reflect back on the year, I can't help but be humbled and appreciative of everything that has occurred, both professionally and personally. Setting my goals for next year, they are a little different than years past:

1. Give myself grace.
Anyone who knows me outside of work knows I don't sit still very often. It's okay to slow down and enjoy what's going on around me.

2. Spend more time with family.
I made it a habit of logging off on time (most of the time) to help my girls with homework and get started on house work this year. For 2024 I want to make it a habit to spend more quality time with my family as a whole.

3. Buckle down on my creative business.
Outside of work I have started to make paintings, crocheted goods, and other creative pieces. In 2024 I plan to press the gas and get more into my shop, be part of more pop-up shops and vendor festivals, and expand my creative chops.

2023 - you've been one for the books and I am so appreciative and humbled of everything that has happened.

2024 - bring it on.

The holidays are just around the corner, and our home is already getting festive. We got ours up early this year, but I think we all could use some extra sparkle and light after the chaos of this year.

When do you put up your tree?
