I am a Woman ♀️©
Linda Aguillon I'm the Founder and Author of this legacy and I started this page not only to express myself but to share my knowledge in all possible areas, for awareness, growth. This is my journey.
I started working since 16 I took all my family's responsibilities under my arms,
I began from the bottom, taking care of children family , friends baby's to 2-3 kids, I'm proud to say I always loved what I did no matter where I was at, those kids know some of them only respect me up until today.
At 17 I got the opportunity to work as an office project manager and did 8 -10 yrs Construction 🚧 🏗️. There is were I learned business on site experience. Spoke to Vendors, sales men, accounting departments, payroll, attorneys, Architects, Engineers, Electricians, Employees, did property management, etc etc .Before I left I met more people that inspired me to 🦘 jump, I saw their dedication as well as mine one of those persons was on an audit I did back on 2019 a woman I admire until today for her honesty and for being able to recognize professionalism.
By 23 I was already juggling jobs between the office duties, extras car washing, warehouse watcher, property clean up, I did read Tarot and Baraja to friends that requested and brought more people to me, etc.
At 24 I did the unthinkable started from 0
At a local gas station with one of the best managers whom supported me by acknowledging the effort, the only thing I didn't know how to do was flour tortillas but I said show me and I'll do it, and I did, I received compliments from local people that watched the change first hand 👏🏻, in a week I was offered to be store assistant manager, I declined because I said I need more time there are people here with more years ahead of me, don't like over stepping. I began to take 2-3 shifts, and University classes at AIU for Business management and administration and shuffling my schedule around, started becoming an entrepreneur and working on my own business ideas. Then also met great people from Primerica.
Then I went into the medical field as front desk receptionist I loved it, but had to relearn terminology, I was given the opportunity to work with good hardworking women and a very educated Dr., one of the things I admire that was different than prior jobs, was the Doctor was actually very humble, despite the social status was not a rude person at all, something that was differed from all the other Jobs and people. Nurses were super nice, helpful and educated. His establishment helped and implemented local business support which I was so happy to see. This was the best and also my first rotation job.
Then after Covid I resigned the reason the distance to work and no transportation, gas prices went up, inflation was bearly starting...so I found a near job went back to the kitchen Head Chef asked for help and I was there, this time with experience and fueled to make a difference as a Chef in Asian Grill, I loved it, I met hardworking individuals, and people that inspired me to keep growing. Working 13 hour shifts sometimes covering the 1st shift, rotating with responsibilities, some people were lacking personal boundaries in there so I was thinking ok so now what? I loved my job but I did a formal resignation letter, spoke to HEB management and some coworkers. Left after business dinner night as requested.
Then I received a 🤙🏻 call we need you at the office 🚧🏗️ I went 🔙 to my position managing 3 companies as Office Project Manager, but to my surprise I found out nothing was done correctly during my time gone and this is not just because "oh I went back" everyone was telling me all the things done wrong from other departments by calls, in person, etc. I did my best and contacted all vendors and suppliers to get all the records back on track. But Payroll department was falling behind, and the Accountant was trying to act as if we didn't knew each other, so I had to send one of those record straight emails. You have to be through on all financial matters, specifically when the mistakes of others want to be placed on your responsibility, Federal things have to be taken very seriously, I never liked being late on time lines, she understood clearly. Then some people got out of line, my workers were new people and people that I had met before, they all understood the rules and assignments, vendors were glad I was back, and I will state here that I was so glad to work with all of them again, until again security breach started happening and they (these specific individuals) thought I was gonna be oblivious, or ignorant like them..so I did set the record straight again, imagine starting from 0 to stand people thinking you don't deserve your position, salary and they go in mischievously on non working hours to mess with your work not knowing you are old-school old-school always with back up lol 🤣 😆 if you understand I had to leave because I'm a professional to the point some people didn't know I'm a trained martial artist, and of this individuals were crossing the line. Imagine in the past I had threats from a secretary on another company by supervisors stating she send them to let me know I was gonna "get jumped" I just smiled and I said meet me after hours, no response to that after, that didn't bother me at all but she acted as a sweet bread of Jesus ever since(nimodo, no le quedo de otra) ....I left because of the security breaches, that were not hold accountable for, for the attitude of the accountant thinking I don't know my financial info, my time stamps, rights and my place. I always worked until late to make sure datelines were on time, I was there to help and I did, so I knew it was time for me to just help myself out, back to my endeavors, spoken face to face with Owner and related matters with specific departments, I was for the first time with no connections if you know what that means.
I became a sales person at 2020 for NRG. Learned to sharpen my self with a lot of people, helped a lot of the community, then I took a sabathical due to personal reasons after sending HR a long Legal Formal Notice, I spoke with managers off the record and I appreciated the offer to stay but I had to find something better for me out there.
I did..Better pay, bonuses, better environment ...I went back to the medical field but this time as an appointment setter within insurance companies, between some: BSC, all my skills were applied, spoke to everyday people, and medical staff, insurance companies, and the team, but I started experiencing what we call a burn out, where all that overwork from previous jobs played a card on me and I did what was in me to balance all or until some things affected my health, respiratory system failing, I got offer to work at another bank 🏦 project but I decided to go back to my own business Development.
I'm healthy regaining myself and my projects, I want to give a Big Shout out to my accountant whom has so much patience, is super professional and efficient. 👏🏻♀️Girl, Thank You from Woman to Woman I admire ladies with brains and not those that come out of their grammas basement and people look for psychological advice cough lol 🤣 😆.
