GatesAir supports successful ATSC 3.0 direct-to-mobile trial in India 🇮🇳

We’re delighted to announce the completion of a three-year Direct-to-Mobile field trial in Delhi with Prasar Bharati and Tejas Networks.

This demonstrated how ATSC 3.0 broadcast technology can deliver live video, audio, education content and emergency alerts directly to mobile and consumer devices, without relying on internet connectivity.

The trial used a hybrid HPHT/LPLT network operating in Single Frequency Network mode, believed to be the first deployment of its kind globally!

The GatesAir family grows bigger, welcome Russell Jay Darrell 👋

We’re delighted to announce that Russell is joining us as our new Regional Sales Manager, Western Europe.

He will bring more than 20 years of experience to GatesAir. His focus is on supporting broadcasters in modernising their FM, DAB/DAB+, and television transmission infrastructure and improving operational efficiency.

In this role, Russell will oversee GatesAir sales activities across Belgium, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Gibraltar, Greenland, Guernsey, Iceland, Ireland, Isle of Man, Jersey, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, and the United Kingdom.
