Metalcraft has provided property identification solutions since 1950. What began as a solution for the Bostitch Stapler Company's identification needs has evolved into Metalcraft as we know it today. The solution for Bostitch was to have Metalcraft provide nameplates with printed copy of Bostitch customer names that were attached with solvent-activated adhesive to their staplers. Since that first Bostitch stapler solution in 1950, Metalcraft has provided thousands of businesses and industries throughout North America and around the world with a wide range of choices in durable nameplates and labels to meet the needs of the ever-evolving industry of tracking and controlling. We’re excited to share that Cassidy Albertson has been promoted to Vice President of Solutions at Metalcraft, effective October 1!**

Cassidy joined Metalcraft in 2019 as a Senior Software Engineer and was promoted to Software Engineering Manager in 2024. For nearly two years, he has also served as General Manager of **ARK Business Systems**, Metalcraft’s business services division, helping lead significant growth and expand our capabilities in software, system integration and implementation services.

In his new role, Cassidy will work across Metalcraft and ARK to bring together our capabilities in identification, RFID, software, engineering and system integration to better address our customers’ complete tracking applications.

“Cassidy has played an important role in expanding what Metalcraft can offer our customers,” said Metalcraft CEO Kyle Bermel. “He understands how the different pieces work together and will help us continue building that solutions capability across the organization.”

This new role is another step in Metalcraft’s continued evolution as a solutions provider—building on our identification expertise while bringing together more of the technology and resources our customers need.

Congratulations to our very own Order Coordinator and Serialization Queen, Diane Weis Tefft, who is retiring after an incredible 38 years with Metalcraft!

For nearly four decades, Diane has helped make sure orders get into production accurately and error-free—keeping countless details, numbers and orders straight along the way.

Diane, thank you for 38 years of dedication to Metalcraft, our customers and your fellow employee-owners. You will definitely be missed!
