Small business week again. It is sad to see how every year we lose more small businesses and small farmers and the business goes to large corporations and on line sales. Shop your local hardware and lumber stores. buy from local greenhouses and tree suppliers. Keep all the local businesses going that you can. Who wouldn't like to have a Nodaway ham or processed meats? But it's gone....
If you shop in St. Joseph or Kansas City the taxes you pay support those cities. We still have some wonderful businesses in Maryville. I love the service at Wilmes tire, Delbert's garage, Beemer muffler, Florea radiator, Maryville glass and lock, Maryville outdoor, Saunders body shop, Pitzenberger auto body and so many more great small companies. Go to church and thank God for salvation and for being born in the most free country of opportunity in our world. God bless you and America.
