Brandon Keesecker, a 1st year Cisco student at James Rumsey Technical Institute has obtained Microsoft Office Specialist Master 2016 certification. To accomplish this Brandon was required to certified in Microsoft Word Expert,
Excel Expert, and two other Microsoft applications. In just a little over one semester, Brandon has added seven Microsoft Office Specialist certifications to his portfolio. They are: PowerPoint 2016, Word 2016, Excel 2016, Access 2016, Outlook 2016, Word Expert
2016, and Excel Expert 2016.

With my students at WV State SkillsUSA Leadership Competition 2019. From left to right, Gage Shetley competed and placed 1st in Internetworking, Chris Wolfe competed in Job Demonstration Open, Gary Mwangi went as an observer and helped with the Chapter Display team, which placed 2nd, and Mark Writt, in the back row, competed and placed 3rd in Information Technology Services. I'm proud of all four of you!

Cisco & Advanced IT students received 75 computers from Berkeley County Schools. The computers will be optimized and used in Computer Lab 2, which is used everyday by many classes , for College 101, and credit recovery.Thanks to Dave Kenney and his IT staff for the computers. Also, a special thank you to Jim Breeden for driving the bus.
